Over the last couple months there has been an increase in speed related complaints along the internal road of our little neighbourhood. As a family friendly neighbourhood (both kids and critters) it is important that everyone abides by the designated speed.
This summer we posted a 10km per hour speed limit. This might seem like a crawl but it was deeply considered. The reality is that the crescent is not very long nor is it very wide and often has cars parked to either side. Children, and especially wayward pets, can easily make an unexpected dash from a blind spot. There is also the unavoidable possibility of ice in the winter. Taking it easy can help avoid any harm to your neighbours and maybe give you a chance to wave hello!
Please follow the posted speed limit. It is a part of making our little neighbourhood a comfortable home for everyone.
